Ruby In Zoisite Tortoise Gemstone Carving

Sculpture Ron Stevens displays his skills, carving a unique turtle out of a solid piece of fine African zoisite, with ruby inside (artfully isolated), displaying deep red - purple inside the gemstone. Looking closely at the details, fine skin is displayed, as well as streaks of white calcite around the shell, across the head, and open beak, which has a distinctive impact on the dark green hues shown around it.
