Art Deco Old Mine Diamond Milgrain Wreath Engagement Ring

Sold

Description

The Vermont diamond solitaire engagement ring. An eminently wearable antique old mine cut diamond engagement ring, the central solitaire, a big ol' chunky gem (1.84 cts) with those large facets that produce such a juicy sparkle-even under candlelight. These "Romance Stones" were hand cut right at the mine with a crude, foot powered wheel, have a charm and character unmatched by today's cut in factories. The dainty milgrain beaded bezel holds the diamond securely in a low setting, high in drama, though. The center enveloped by floral accents provide an elegant flair, so feminine, classic and timeless.
Expertly hand fabricated in platinum, a faithful emulation of classic 1920s Art Deco style, using the same tools and techniques from 100 years ago.
